Planet of health is one of the largest pharmacy chains on the Belarusian market. It was the first to introduce ISO 9001:2015 standards in retail.


The unique project allows users to select and book medicines, biologically active food supplements, medical products and dermocosmetics.

Objective: to update website in accordance with the goals — to be innovative, accessible, convenient and modern.

Internal system integration

Our team integrated the website with the client's internal system via API, thereby automating the process of uploading all the necessary information.
Thus, structures, catalog, promotions, discounts, prices are displayed. About 90% of the information is updated without the participation of company employees. Thanks to integration with maps, users can see products with current prices in real time in 285 retail outlets throughout Belarus.

Product cart

The minimum number of fields to fill in when placing an order allows to book the desired product in a few seconds. At the same time, the product cart «knows» everything about the added medicines: for example, the user can see if a prescription is required to buy it.
The buyer can book several products at once and choose the pharmacy to pick up the order. Moreover, he can choose either one address or several different ones.

Product card

We have implemented regional geolocation determination for buyers. Entering a product card, the user will see a list of all pharmacies where this medicine is available (in the selected region: Minsk, Baranovichi, Lida).

Moreover, thanks to the system for generating and tracking promotional offers and discounts, the buyer sees the most advantageous offers first of all. It is possible to purchase a product at a reduced price if it expires. This may be relevant for those buyers who need the medicine right now.


A number of product categories are accompanied by links to articles that may be useful to the buyer.

Catalog

Integration with the internal system allows to update the assortment data every 30 minutes, so prices and balances for products and retail outlets are always up to date
It is also worth noting the convenience of selecting products: smart search, special filters in the catalog, the «Brands» section, which allows not only to view popular brands, but also immediately select and put something from assortment into the product cart. All these tools allow users to reduce product searching time from the moment they enter the website to the moment they work with placing orders in the product cart.

Design

The design was created on the basis of detailed UX analytics. Having worked on each element and each scenario, we got the current look of the website: it is unique, easy to understand, and most importantly, comfortable to use.

Future Directions

Together with the client we are thinking over further options for the development of the project. First of all, it is planned to implement loyalty system and personal account with the ability to view the history of orders and their statuses.
All this will be able to attract even more users to buy pharmaceuticals on the Internet.
